Buffy the vampire slayer
Teenager, Buffy Summers, arrives in Sunnydale after being expelled from her previous school for, alledgedly, burning it down, twice. Hoping to start a new life, away from the slaying destiny that haunts her, she is horriffied to discover that a new Watcher awaits her at the High school, the English librarian Rupert Giles, and that she has, in fact, moved to the Hellmouth. At first she resists her destiny, but over time she builds a good rapore with her new Watcher and aquires a 'gang' of friends who are aware of her destiny and help her in her many battles against evil.
